16-WEEK CODING COURSE
This course is taught by licensed, certified, experienced instructors utilizing the AAPC curriculum
MedCenter Coding Institute utilizes AAPC's approved classroom curriculum to prepare students to sit and pass the CPC® exam. This course will prepare students for a medical coding career in an outpatient physician office. Individuals planning to sit for the CPC® exam should have strong coding experience /knowledge or have successfully completed this course.
This 16-week classroom course teaches medical terminology and anatomy, the fundamentals medical coding skills for an outpatient physician setting and prepares the student to take AAPC's CPC® exam. Covers CPT®, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, and ICD-10-CM coding. Assures a broad knowledge in reviewing and assigning the correct procedure and diagnosis codes for physician services.
Students should have previously taken a medical terminology and anatomy course. If you require an anatomy and medical terminology course MedCenter Coding Institute does offer this in our 16-week program.

Course Expectations: This fast-paced study program will challenge medical billing and coding professionals to raise the bar and reach new levels of understanding. Weekly 3-hour classes with 5-6 hours of homework/study time each week will prepare the student for CPC® certification.
REFUND POLICY FOR MEDCENTER CODING INSTITUTE
Refund Policy
By purchasing any course, you certify that you have read and agree to the following Refund Policy:
- Tuition: Tuition fees are non-refundable. However, if you need to cancel, payment may be transferred to another course.
- Class Refunds:
- Unless the class is canceled by MedCenter Coding Institute, there are no refunds for the class.
- Taking a class does not guarantee a passing grade on the credential examination.
- Instructor delays due to weather or airline-related issues are beyond the control of MedCenter Coding Institute instructors. In such cases, appropriate and reasonable accommodations will be made with both the instructor and students.
- In-Person Boot Camp Cancellation:
- If an in-person Boot Camp is canceled by MedCenter Coding Institute due to lack of enrollment (less than 5 students), registered students who have received their class materials will be converted to virtual enrollment.
- The student will receive a $300 refund (the difference between Virtual Learning and In-Person Boot Camp tuition).
- Students may also choose to reschedule their In-Person Boot Camp at no additional cost to a different location.
- Credit Card Payment Authorization:
- Submission of the One-Time Credit Card Payment Authorization Form authorizes MedCenter Coding Institute to make a one-time debit to the provided credit card.
- This authorization is solely for the specified transaction and does not grant permission for any unrelated debits or credits to your account.
